Sharjah 24: Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, recently celebrated with the teams that won and participated in the Ramadan tournament held by the club. The closing ceremony attracted board members and many residents from Khorfakkan and the East Coast area.

Among those present at the event were Dr Luay Saeed Allay, the Vice Chairman of the Board; Abdullah Saeed Al Harithi, who heads the Government Communications Committee; and Dr Suleiman Rashid Suleiman Al Naqbi, Head of the Support Services Committee, along with several local residents.

The Ramadan tournament was a great success, featuring 94 participants, including board members, players, club members, staff, and even families from outside the club. The event created a lively sporting and social atmosphere that encouraged friendly competition and teamwork.

In his speech, Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi expressed that organizing such events during Ramadan is part of the club’s mission to promote participation and communication among its members. He emphasized that these activities help build both sportsmanship and social values while also fostering inclusion for the club's players within the larger community. He was pleased that the tournament met its goals by encouraging more involvement and creating an engaging environment for everyone.

Dr Luay Saeed Allay also shared his thoughts on the success of the tournament, praising its organization and wide participation. He noted that events like this strengthen bonds among club members and promote social inclusion, highlighting the club's dedication to supporting and empowering people with disabilities both in sports and in their everyday lives.
