UAE intercepts 9 ballistic missiles,6 cruise missiles,148 drones

The Ministry stated that since the start of the blatant Iranian aggression, 174 ballistic missiles launched toward the country have been detected, of which 161 were intercepted and destroyed, while 13 fell into the sea. It also reported detecting 689 Iranian drones, with 645 successfully intercepted and 44 landing within the country’s territory. In addition, eight cruise missiles were detected and destroyed, resulting in some collateral damage. These incidents led to three fatalities and 68 minor injuries.

The Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard across various parts of the country were caused by air defence systems intercepting ballistic missiles and fighter jets intercepting drones and cruise missiles, which resulted in minor to moderate material damage to several civilian properties.
