UAE President receives phone call from President of Mozambique

Sharjah24 - WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a phone call on Tuesday from President Daniel Chapo of Mozambique, in which the two leaders discussed the recent escalation of military activity in the region and its potential impact on security and stability.

President Chapo voiced his strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks that targeted the UAE and several other countries and expressed Mozambique’s solidarity with the UAE in taking all necessary measures to protect its people and territory.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed Mozambique’s support, thanking President Chapo for standing with the UAE during this tense period.

The two leaders also agreed on the urgent need to halt further military escalation and return to dialogue and political solutions. They underlined the importance of preventing the conflict from spreading, given the serious threat it poses to regional peace and security.
