Saudi Arabia intercepts nine drones, two cruise missiles

The announcement was made in an official statement published on the Saudi Ministry of Defence’s X platform page.

Major General Al-Maliki also confirmed that two cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed in Al-Kharj Governorate.

Authorities confirmed that the aerial threats were neutralised as part of the Kingdom’s air-defence measures to safeguard national security and protect the country’s airspace.
