According to the Saudi Press Agency, Turki Al Maliki, official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, stated that the ballistic missile was launched towards the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia and was successfully intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems.
Al-Maliki also said that two drones were intercepted and destroyed east of Al Kharj Governorate.
