Sharjah24: The 43rd edition of the “Ramadan Nights” Exhibition opened on Tuesday evening at Expo Centre Sharjah. Organised by the centre with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event forms part of the 36th Sharjah Ramadan Festival and will run until 22 March.
The exhibition features an exceptional festive atmosphere, a packed programme of heritage and entertainment activities, and attractive discounts of up to 75% on a wide range of products. More than 210 exhibitors are participating, representing around 700 leading international and local brands across an area exceeding 18,000 square metres.
Strong visitor turnout expected
The exhibition is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s most prominent shopping and entertainment events during the holy month. The opening day witnessed a strong turnout of visitors eager to benefit from major retail promotions and special offers on well-known brands.
Heritage Village showcases Emirati traditions
The event also saw the opening of the “Heritage Village”, attended by Jamal Saeed Bu Zanjal, General Coordinator of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, and Sultan Mohammed Shattaf Al Owais Al Omeri, Commercial Executive Director at Expo Centre Sharjah, along with several officials.
The village celebrates the “Year of the Family”, offering visitors a rich cultural experience reflecting Emirati traditions and the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. Displays by productive families and small businesses include traditional clothing, handicrafts, palm-frond products, incense and authentic Arabian perfumes, as well as old coins and traditional fishing tools. Visitors can also enjoy folk performances, cultural competitions, popular dishes, dates and Arabic coffee.
Platform supporting retail and entrepreneurs
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said the Ramadan Nights Exhibition plays an important role in supporting Sharjah’s economic development by providing a comprehensive platform that meets the needs of families and consumers while stimulating retail activity.
He noted that hosting the exhibition during Ramadan and aligning it with the “Year of the Family” strengthens family values and offers an attractive environment for families to enjoy the spirit of the holy month, while also enabling young entrepreneurs and productive families to showcase their work.
More exhibitors and diverse shopping options
Sultan Mohammed Al Omrani highlighted that the exhibition reflects Expo Sharjah’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest trends in consumer exhibitions. The event has expanded in scale, with more exhibitors and brands participating, while offering visitors a smoother shopping experience and a wider range of options.

The exhibition features open raffles and competitions offering valuable prizes, alongside Ramadan evening experiences. In line with the “Year of the Family”, dedicated areas cater to all family members, including an iftar corner offering a variety of local, Arab and international dishes, as well as a children’s zone with expanded space, diverse games and creative educational programmes.
