Worshippers perform Eid Al Fitr prayer across Sharjah cities

Sharjah 24: Large numbers of worshippers gathered on Friday morning to perform Eid Al Fitr prayer in major mosques across Sharjah, Al Dhaid, and Khorfakkan. Citizens and residents arrived early, filling mosques with a spiritual atmosphere of devotion and joy, chanting takbeers and celebrating the blessed occasion.

Messages of congratulations

Dr Salem Al Doubi, Director of the Religious Guidance Department at the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs, extended his congratulations to the wise leadership, the people of the UAE, and residents across the country in remarks to "Sharjah 24."

He praised Almighty God for the blessings granted to Muslims, enabling them to observe the fast and follow the prophetic traditions. He prayed that God accepts everyone’s fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and that this blessed occasion may be repeated for many years and long times to come, with all enjoying abundant health, well-being, security, safety, peace, and faith.

Promoting values of compassion and faith

He emphasised that Eid is an opportunity to strengthen values of tolerance and social solidarity, encouraging people to maintain family ties and bring joy to orphans and those in need. He also highlighted the importance of continuing acts of worship beyond Ramadan, praying for the UAE’s continued security, stability, and prosperity.
