Leverkusen’s top-four hopes hit by Heidenheim draw
Bayer Leverkusen drew 3-3 with bottom side Heidenheim, squandering a 3-2 lead with five minutes remaining. Goals from Malik Tillmann and Patrik Schick had put Leverkusen ahead, but Heidenheim fought back through Hennes Behrens, Marvin Pieringer, and a late equalizer. The draw leaves Leverkusen sixth, four points behind Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Hoffenheim.
