UAE attends Arab Interior Ministers Council session

The session gathered delegations from the League of Arab States, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and the Arab Police Sports Federation, alongside senior Arab security officials.

In his speech, Sheikh Saif pointed out that the meeting occurs during a period of rapidly increasing regional challenges, emphasising the effects of recent Iranian attacks targeting Gulf states and other nations.

He confirmed that the UAE continues to be secure under Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, backed by the preparedness of the Armed Forces, societal unity, and robust international alliances.

Sheikh Saif emphasised the UAE’s full readiness to support GCC countries, highlighting the importance of solidarity and coordination in tackling regional challenges. He reaffirmed that protecting the UAE’s security and sovereignty remains a top priority, guided by a balanced and wise approach aimed at maintaining regional stability.

The session reviewed key agenda items, including reports from the General Secretariat, updates from Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, the draft second phase of the Arab strategy to combat terrorism, and recommendations from recent regional and international meetings.
