UAE air defences intercept missile and drone attacks

In a statement posted on the platform X, the Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard across various parts of the country are the result of ongoing engagement operations by UAE air defence systems targeting ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones.

The Ministry emphasised that the defence systems are actively intercepting and neutralising incoming threats as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard national security and ensure public safety.
