Russian strike kills three in southern Ukraine

Moscow has been carrying out nightly drone attacks across Ukraine since its invasion began in February 2022, with Ukrainian officials accusing Russian forces of targeting residential areas and civilians.

According to the city’s military administration, the overnight attack resulted in three confirmed deaths, including a child, and caused injuries to two more people who were hospitalised.

The strike follows a series of drone attacks in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, where regional authorities reported that eight people, including two children, were wounded and several apartment buildings and homes were damaged.
