Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, Board Member and Head of the Individual Sports Department, confirmed that the club places sustainability and building generations of champions among its strategic priorities, with the aim of reaching the Olympic Games with national teams, through talent identification starting from the age of four, and developing players according to the best modern practices to enhance their competitiveness.
Al Hajri added that the club aims to achieve its 28th title during the current season, noting that the club’s players have achieved distinguished results in external championships with national teams over the past period, with anticipation of player Nasser Al Zuwain’s participation with the taekwondo national team in the 2026 World Championship in Uzbekistan. He also noted that the number of club players in national teams, excluding jiu-jitsu and swimming, has reached 45 players.
The Head of the Individual Sports Department explained that the club is preparing to compete in around 10 remaining championships this season in karate, archery, cycling, and taekwondo, with ambitions to compete for titles, praising the continued support of the Sharjah Sports Council and the club’s Board of Directors, chaired by His Excellency Mohammed bin Hindi, in developing individual sports and providing the requirements to achieve the best results.
