In a statement marking World Creativity and Innovation Day on 21 April, the Council stressed that fostering innovation and supporting creative talent are critical priorities for achieving sustainable development and building more stable and cohesive societies.
The Council called for greater investment in young talents and the creation of environments that encourage innovation, noting that coordinated international and institutional efforts are needed to unlock human creative potential.
It highlighted that true creativity extends beyond technology to include ideas that promote dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, while also helping to counter hate speech and extremist ideologies.
The Council urged stronger global cooperation in creativity and innovation, along with greater exchange of knowledge and expertise, to build a future rooted in justice, compassion, and human dignity, and to support a more peaceful and stable world.
