The project is one of several under Dubai’s AED3 billion beach development plan, designed to expand beach capacity, enhance infrastructure, and transform the coastline into world-class urban and tourism destinations aligned with long-term development strategies.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid highlighted that the development supports Dubai’s vision to become the world’s best city to live in by 2040, noting that the expanded beach network will significantly increase visitor capacity and strengthen tourism appeal.
The Al Mamzar Beaches project will span millions of square feet, accommodate millions of annual visitors, and feature modern leisure facilities, walking and cycling tracks, and advanced smart technologies including AI and IoT to enhance safety and services.
The project aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, focusing on sustainability, public spaces, and enhanced community wellbeing, while also supporting investment opportunities and private sector participation.
Key features include family and women-only beach areas, floating walkways, waterfront dining, sports zones, and integrated recreational spaces designed to offer diverse experiences for residents and tourists.
Officials said the development will reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading global tourism hub by offering innovative, safe, and sustainable beachfront destinations that combine leisure, investment, and quality of life improvements.
