Al Ain opened the scoring through Laba Kodjo from the penalty spot in the 6th minute, before extending the lead in the 52nd minute via an own goal by Al Bataeh’s Marwan Fahad.
The result takes Al Ain to 59 points, further consolidating their position at the top of the standings, while Al Bataeh remain on 19 points in 12th place.
