UAE President meets the King of Bahrain

Sharjah24-WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who is visiting the UAE, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Their Highnesses and His Majesty the King held cordial discussions that reflected the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries and their peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa discussed bilateral relations and cooperation, affirming their shared commitment to further strengthen ties that support their development priorities and mutual interests and to benefit their peoples.

They also exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and several officials.

Also in attendance were Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council of Bahrain, and Royal Guard Commander.
