The Crown Prince took the opportunity to set out Fujairah's position on sporting talent. The government's job, he said, is to provide young athletes with the conditions they need to develop — proper support, proper facilities, and a culture that takes ambition seriously. He urged the emirate's emerging generation to keep putting in the work, with their sights set on carrying Fujairah's and the UAE's names forward in international competitions.
He also spoke warmly about the personal attention Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi gives to the sporting community, crediting his ongoing support as a driving force behind athletes realising their potential.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Huda Al Ali directly, stating that her qualification for the Youth Olympics is a significant indicator of the direction of sport in the UAE and adds another achievement to the country's young competitors' tally on the world stage.
Al Kaboori thanked the Crown Prince openly, saying that the support he and the Fujairah leadership show for young athletes and sport more broadly is not just symbolic — it translates into results, with UAE flags going up at competitions around the world.
Dr Ahmed Hamdan Al Zayyoudi, Director of the Crown Prince's Office, and Nader Abu Shawish, Director of Fujairah Martial Arts Club, attended the meeting.
