During the meeting, His Highness commended ADNOC for its strong resilience in maintaining safe operations while continuing to reliably supply energy to customers in both local and international markets.
He also reviewed ADNOC’s overall performance and noted its solid progress in delivering key growth projects, affirming the company’s position as a responsible and dependable global energy producer. He highlighted ADNOC’s operational flexibility to responsibly scale production to meet market demand when export capacity permits.
His Highness was briefed on the West–East Pipeline project, which is set to double ADNOC’s export capacity via Fujairah. The pipeline is currently under construction and is expected to become operational in 2027.
He directed ADNOC to accelerate delivery of the project as the company advances into a new phase of large-scale project execution aimed at meeting global energy demand.
The Executive Committee reviewed progress on Phase 1 of the TA’ZIZ chemicals ecosystem in Al Ruwais Industrial City in the Al Dhafra Region, highlighting its role in developing new domestic value chains.
His Highness welcomed the long-term offtake and feedstock agreements announced by TA’ZIZ during Make it in the Emirates 2026, as well as its partnership with Alpha Dhabi Holding to conduct a feasibility study for producing up to 14 industrial chemicals in the UAE. These products are widely used across construction, automotive, packaging, and consumer goods sectors.
The TA’ZIZ ecosystem is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 4.7 million tonnes of industrial chemicals by 2028, making it one of the largest integrated chemicals platforms in the Gulf region.
His Highness reiterated the importance of ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme in supporting economic growth and creating opportunities for local businesses and manufacturers. He also directed ADNOC to prioritise UAE-made products across its projects and operations.
