UOS conference for graduate students research presents 600 papers

Sharjah 24: Professor Dr Essam Al-Din Ajami, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, announced that the university launched, on Saturday, its annual conference for graduate students' research (Master's and PhD) from universities across the UAE, as well as five universities from abroad.

Promising ideas from researchers

Professor Dr Essam El-Din Ajami stated that the annual conference for graduate students' research features 606 scientific papers, which will be discussed by Master's and PhD students and their supervisors. He noted that this large gathering presents promising ideas from researchers both within and outside the UAE, enriching and strengthening the scientific research system and refining research ideas with diverse perspectives.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Ajami added that this large number of research papers ensures that they address societal issues in a genuine and profound manner, contributing to the advancement of development plans in priority areas within the UAE and the world at large.

Ajami pointed out that this critical research approach ensures that development plans will be stimulated, coordinated, and implemented in a way that guarantees the UAE and the region continued excellence in human well-being and supports development plans.

Promoting a culture of scientific research and innovation

The conference aims to promote a culture of scientific research and innovation by providing an interactive academic platform that allowed participants to present their multidisciplinary projects and research through scientific and discussion sessions, oral presentations, and research posters. This contributed to the exchange of experiences and knowledge and benefited from the academic expertise of a select group of specialists and experts in both the academic and practical sectors.
