The recognition ceremony was attended by Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, the club’s Executive Director, Dr Zaki Yahya Abdullah, Executive Secretary, along with members of the swimming team and the technical and administrative staff.
The closing ceremony featured a distinguished awards presentation during which the Chairman and Executive Director honoured the swimming team champions who deservedly reached the podium.
Leading the honourees was swimmer Mohammed bin Hadaf Huwaiden, who won the first-place trophy as Best Swimmer in the 15–16 age category.
Swimmer Ali Salem Rashid Saif Al Shawi Al Ghafli secured three gold medals and was crowned first-place trophy winner as Best Swimmer in the 11–12 age category.
Swimmer Obaid Saeed Obaid also received the Best Swimmer trophy in the 10-year-old category.
Swimmer Mohammed Al Ketbi earned three gold medals and claimed the first-place trophy as Best Swimmer in his age category.
The recognition programme also extended to the technical and administrative personnel who contributed to this success.
Captain Khalid Al Marshadi, coach of Al Dhaid Club’s swimming team, along with swimming administrator Omar Al Naddas and Zaid Hamoud, were honoured in appreciation of their major efforts and influential role in achieving this success and developing the players’ performance levels.
For his part, Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi praised the team’s high standards during the championship, commending the dedication of the technical and administrative staff and the swimmers’ determination.
He also expressed his wishes for everyone to continue their path of excellence and secure more titles and championships in upcoming competitions to keep raising the club’s name high.
