The award is one of the many projects sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and aims to support and honour those involved in theatrical art in the UAE, the Gulf, and the rest of the Arab countries.
The winner will be honoured at the opening ceremony of the Sharjah Theatrical Days, which will kick off on March 13. In addition, an academic symposium will be organised on his artistic experience, and a book marking his career will be published.
