Poems celebrating homelands, humanity at Poetry House in Sharjah

The evening featured poets Mustafa Al-Haji from Syria, Wafaa Jaabour from Jordan, Al-Bou Mahfouz from Mauritania, and Nour Al-Mousalli from Syria, in the presence of poet Mohammed Abdullah Al-Buraiki, Director of the House, alongside a large audience of critics, poets and poetry enthusiasts.

A gathering of poets and cultural exchange

The evening was presented by media figure Wissam Shia, who welcomed the audience and paid tribute to the leader of the cultural movement, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, noting his generous support which has made Sharjah a capital of culture and creativity.

At the conclusion, poet Mohammed Al-Buraiki honoured the participating poets and the evening’s presenter.
