Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) unveiled on Thursday its latest initiative, "Treating Patients." This marks the beginning of a series of charitable efforts that will take place over the first ten days of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
The initiative has set a target of collecting AED 300,000 in donations. The SCI is calling upon the charitable
individuals to lend their support to the cases that will be presented starting this Friday morning through the "Humanity's Goodness" service. This service aims to gather donations to cover the treatment costs of medical cases.
According to Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, the Executive Director, the "Treating Patients" initiative will showcase three medical cases that have been approved for assistance by the charity's committee.
Bin Khadem stressed the importance of promptly securing the funds needed for these cases and urged individuals to make contributions through different donation channels. He continued that various methods are available for making donations, including SMS with specific donation codes, smart link for payments through Apple and Samsung Pay, credit cards, and bank transfers. In addition, individuals have the option to schedule a representative from the SCI to pick up their donations.
