Sharjah24: Participants from Al Dhaid Club's summer activities recently had the opportunity to visit Al Wusta TV Channel as part of the Sharjah Summer Programme, which is overseen by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. This visit was aimed at providing participants with an inside look into the operations of the channel and familiarising them with the technologies employed in its programming.
During the guided tour of the channel's premises, the participants explored various facilities including studios, editing departments, and program sections. They received detailed explanations from channel specialists regarding the processes involved in programme preparation, broadcasting techniques, and the use of equipment such as cameras and sound technologies. The tour also covered aspects of studio insulation methods used for optimal production quality.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to enrich the educational and recreational experiences of participants in the Sharjah Summer Programme. By gaining insights into different facets of media production and technology, participants are equipped to broaden their understanding across diverse fields. Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, emphasised the significance of such visits in enhancing participants' media literacy and overall awareness during the summer break. He praised the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority for organising the visit and acknowledged the pivotal role played by Al Wousta TV Channel in promoting awareness and knowledge within the youth and broader community.
