Bin Huwaiden stressed that this vision enhances Sharjah's position as a sports and cultural hub, and contributes to the development of young talents, reflecting the wise leadership's commitment to promoting sports and social values in society.
He pointed out that the great support given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to sports clubs contributes to the development of sports infrastructure, and the provision of modern facilities that help athletes practice their favourite sports.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club added that allocating 36 million dirhams, for clubs that have achieved sporting achievements, reflects His Highness's vision in building an active sports community, whereas sports activity is an essential part of the lifestyle, an incentive for development and making sporting achievements in all tournaments.
Bin Huwaiden pointed out that this grant works to support investment in young athletes, as they are the hope of the future, and the role of sports in enhancing team spirit and teamwork, which contributes to building strong personalities capable of participating in challenges and raising the UAE's sports in various fora.
At the end of his statement, Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden stressed that Al Dhaid Club will continue to achieve its vision towards the desired sports and cultural goals, appreciating the support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which is a strong motivation for all athletes and clubs in the emirate.
