Al Hamriyah wins Modern Rowing Championship on Dubai Maritime Day

Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Cultural Sports Club won the overall excellence cup in the Dubai Modern Rowing Race, part of the first round of the UAE Championship.

The event, organised by the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, took place as part of the Dubai Maritime Day 2025 activities, supervised by the UAE Sailing and Modern Rowing Federation.

Competitive results

A total of 40 male and female athletes from six sports clubs participated in the competition. Al Hamriyah Club dominated the overall standings with 71 points, securing first place. Sharjah Women's Sports Club performed brilliantly in the women's competitions, earning second place with 36 points. Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club finished in third place with 23 points.

This victory further underscores Al Hamriyah's strong presence in modern rowing, as the club continues to excel in regional sporting events.
