During his tour, Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that bringing together global aviation manufacturers and technology developers in Dubai highlights the emirate’s success as a global aviation hub. He highlighted the event’s role in fostering international dialogue aimed at building a better future for humanity, security, stability, progress, and prosperity.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the biennial Dubai Airshow for showcasing the importance of collaboration and innovation in developing global aviation capabilities. He pointed out that the participation of leading aerospace companies underscores Dubai’s growing influence in shaping the future of aviation and supporting a knowledge-based economy aligned with the nation's aspirations.
Sheikh Hamdan reviewed over 200 aircraft, including commercial, military, business jets, and UAVs, alongside advanced aviation technologies. He inspected notable aircraft such as the Bombardier Global 7500, Gulfstream’s G800 and G700 jets, and China’s COMAC C919, illustrating advancements in range, fuel efficiency, and digital systems.
This year’s Airshow features more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 new participants, with 148,000 visitors and delegations from 115 countries. It includes 21 national pavilions, 98 chalets, an 8,000-square-meter display area, 120 startups, and 50 investors.
Under the theme ‘The Future Is Here,’ the Dubai Airshow 2025 unites global aviation leaders to shape the next era of aviation and space sectors.
