SSC and Clubs Participate in 54th Eid Al Etihad Celebrations

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is participating in the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, which began at Al Suyoh Park under the auspices of the Sharjah Celebrations Committee and will continue until December 2nd. The celebrations, themed "United," feature the participation of the emirate's sports and specialised clubs in this major event, with a dedicated pavilion for the Council and its clubs attracting large daily visitors.

SSC participation is part of a larger group of government departments and institutions. The Council and club pavilions include heritage and cultural exhibitions, competitions, information about the Council and its clubs and their roles, cultural contests, and daily sports demonstrations for visitors.

Renewing the pledge

His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan, Secretary-General of SSC, noted that the Council and clubs' participation in the celebrations is a great national occasion that commemorates the founding fathers and appreciates the efforts of the wise leadership, which has placed the UAE at the forefront of nations in all fields. He added that it is an occasion for unity and solidarity among the people of the nation, and emphasised that this occasion is a renewal of the pledge to serve the nation with utmost dedication, sincerity, and loyalty.

Al Hosan praised the efforts of the Sharjah Celebrations Committee, headed by His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, and its great role in coordinating the celebrations with government departments and institutions, wishing continued prosperity and progress for the nation.
