The awards were presented in the presence of Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Sports Council; Abdulatif Al Fardan, President of the UAE Basketball Federation; Salem Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Cultural and Sports Club; Nadim Hakim, President of Beirut Club; Dr Abdulatif Sobhi, President of Egypt’s 6 October Club; and Ahmed Suleiman, founder of Jam Sports Academy.
The tournament recorded a high level of participation, with 600 male and female players representing 43 teams from 12 countries. Competition across the five age categories was strong, with matches staged at the Khorfakkan Club Hall through joint organising by the Sharjah Sports Council, Khorfakkan Club, and Jam Sports Academy. Individual honours went to Mohammed Jizawi of Sharjah in the under-19 category, Buryok Kirill of Russia’s Dynamo in the under-16 category, and Kamil Gutierrez of Switzerland’s Ciba in the under-14 category.
Sharjah Sports Club claimed the under-19 boys’ title, ahead of Jam Sport UAE and France’s Number One, while Russia’s Dynamo topped the under-16 boys’ category, followed by France’s Number One and Spain’s Next Hoops. Switzerland’s Ciba won the under-14 boys’ title, ahead of Al Hamriyah and France’s Number One, while Lebanon’s Don Bosco took first place in the under-12 boys’ competition, followed by Jam Sport UAE and Khorfakkan. In the under-16 girls’ category, Jam Sport UAE finished first, with Beirut second and Sharjah third.
