UAE names 23 players for Arab Cup in Qatar

Sharjah 24: The UAE Football Association has revealed a 23-man squad in preparation for the upcoming Arab Cup tournament, set to take place in Qatar from December 1st to 18th.

The 2025 Arab Cup will feature 16 Arab national teams competing in Qatar, with the UAE team among the participating nations.

The squad includes key players such as Ali Khaseif, Khalid Eisa, Hamad Al Muqbali, Lucas Pimenta, Sasa Ivkovic, Alaa El-Din Zuhair, Kwame Kouadio, Ruben Felipe, Khalid Al Dhanhani, Marcus Meloni, Richard O'Connor, Essam Fayez, Nicolas Jimenez, Yahya Nader, Majed Rashid, Mohammed Jumaa, Luan Pereira, Bruno Oliveira, Caio Lucas, Ali Saleh, Yahya Al Ghassani, Hareb Abdullah, and Sultan Adel.

Team departure and group details

The team is scheduled to depart next Friday for Doha to participate in the tournament. They will compete in Group C alongside Egypt and Jordan, with the additional slot to be determined by the outcome of the match between Kuwait and Mauritania in the preliminary round scheduled for tomorrow.
