The renewed certifications include ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems. The global certification body SGS recommended extending all three certificates for three years following comprehensive field audits conducted in the presence of Dr Louay Saeed Alai Al Naqbi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ali Ahmed Al Naqbi, Secretary-General; and Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Technical Affairs and Talent Support Committee.
Dr Lamia Al Zaabi, Chair of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee, said that renewing the three ISO certifications is a notable achievement, showing the club’s dedication to adopting top international practices. She noted that teams worked effectively to ensure all processes met global standards of quality, safety, and environmental management, thereby boosting organisational readiness and sustainability.
Al Zaabi stated that the committee’s regular evaluation process has helped identify strengths, opportunities for improvement, and strategic development plans to enhance services and facilities. She emphasised the role of integrated management systems in developing human capability, raising awareness of quality and information security, and achieving the club’s long-term objectives.
She emphasised that integrated management systems are not merely organisational frameworks but strategic approaches that support continuous development and enhance service standards for club members and beneficiaries. Successfully passing external audits demonstrates the strength of the club’s operational plans and the commitment of its teams.
Maintaining international certifications provides the club with a strong competitive edge and enhances community confidence in its capacity to deliver high-quality services in line with global standards. Al Zaabi reaffirmed the club’s commitment to innovation, performance improvement, and achieving further progress in accordance with its strategic vision.
