Fatima Al Suwaidi won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle competition – junior category, scoring 620.2 points in a performance characterized by consistency and focus. Malak Al Bashar, Mona Al Hosani, and Khawla Al Raisi also participated in the same category, delivering strong performances that reflect the development of the age groups within the club.
In the 10m air pistol competition – junior category, Reem Al Ketbi won the gold medal after scoring 545 points, her best personal best this season. Laila Al Naqbi won the bronze medal after a strong competitive performance.
The team's administrator, Suhaila Al Balushi, praised the players' performance during the tournament, emphasizing that the results achieved were a direct result of their technical readiness and continuous training within the club. She said: "Participating in the Eid Al; Etihad Championship is a fundamental part of our annual participation plan. Through it, we aim to integrate the players into regular competitions to enhance their experience and strengthen their readiness. The medals won reflect the players' commitment to training and the consistency of the technical work throughout the season."
She added: "We place great importance on the age groups, considering them the foundation of the team's future. What was evident in the tournament confirms that the players are progressing as planned, and the current results give us a clearer picture of their technical readiness and strengthen the team's foundation for the upcoming stages."
This participation is another step in a series of events through which Sharjah Women's Sports Club strives to raise the level of its players and enhance their presence in local and international championships, in line with the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation's vision of preparing a generation capable of competing and achieving sustainable success.
