Nahyan bin Mubarak visits MENA Bitcoin Conference in Abu Dhabi

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the second edition of the Middle East and North Africa Bitcoin Conference (Bitcoin MENA) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The event was organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with global firm BTC Inc.

Platform for innovation and digital transformation

During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan highlighted that the conference serves as a leading platform connecting experts, innovators, and decision-makers to explore the future of Bitcoin. He emphasized that the event strengthens the UAE’s position as a global hub for emerging technologies.

“Bitcoin MENA 2025 represents a pivotal moment in the region’s journey towards digital transformation. It reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering innovation and building bridges between traditional values and modern technologies,” he said.

Sheikh Nahyan noted that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE continues to advance in technology and digital innovation, supporting the nation’s vision of becoming a global hub for cutting-edge technologies and a knowledge-based economy.

He also highlighted the growing importance of digital currencies in the global economy, contributing to transparency, efficiency, and innovative financial systems aligned with future needs.

The second edition of Bitcoin MENA featured over 234 local and international speakers from 62 countries, with more than 500 exhibitors and brands participating. Experts discussed the latest developments in Bitcoin, digital trends, and the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the decentralized economy.

The conference underscores Abu Dhabi’s growing influence as a global platform for digital innovation. ADNEC Group’s collaboration with BTC Inc strengthens international cooperation and supports the adoption of emerging technologies in the region.
