Sharjah24: The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), has announced a comprehensive New Year’s Eve 2026 programme featuring three simultaneous fireworks displays at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach. The 10-minute shows will take place at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, bringing residents and visitors together for a unified celebration.

Beyond the fireworks locations, celebrations will extend across Al Noor Island, Sharjah Boats, Al Montazah Parks, and Mleiha National Park, offering families and visitors a range of waterfront, island, and desert experiences that reflect Sharjah’s diversity and character.

At Al Majaz Waterfront, festivities include live entertainment, a musical fountain show, and dining at more than 20 restaurants. Al Heera Beach will host a family-friendly beachfront celebration along its 3.5-kilometre shoreline, while Khorfakkan Beach combines fireworks with entertainment set against a dramatic mountain-sea backdrop.

Special New Year’s Eve experiences

Al Noor Island will offer a beachside dinner with views of the fireworks, while Sharjah Boats will host lagoon cruises to watch the displays from the water. Mleiha National Park will present the “New Year’s under the Stars” desert experience, featuring overnight camping, cultural performances, stargazing, and traditional hospitality.

Advance booking encouraged

Shurooq encouraged visitors to plan ahead and secure early bookings for limited-capacity experiences, reaffirming Sharjah’s position as a family-friendly, experience-rich destination for welcoming in the New Year.
