Sharjah24: Under its ongoing development programme, the Human Resources Department at Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organised a lecture titled “A positive work environment: a mandatory path to excellence”, delivered by Dr Atiya Al Sayed. The lecture was attended by Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club; Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Tarban, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club; Ali Mohammed Yarouf Al Naqbi, General Secretary; Ahmed Abdullah Ali Al Qaseer Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; Mohammed Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Executive Director; Mohammed Rashid Rashood, member of the Cultural and Community Committee; in addition to all club employees and coaches.


Honouring distinguished employees

 

The lecture began with the recognition of a number of outstanding staff members by Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of the Company, in appreciation of their efforts and achievements, reflecting the management’s keenness to support a culture of excellence and motivation.

 

 

Understanding the work environment

 

Dr Al Sayed opened his presentation by defining the concept of the work environment and explaining its key elements that shape the organisational climate within institutions. He then addressed the concept of a positive work environment and its direct impact on improving performance levels and strengthening job loyalty.

 

Practical approaches to workplace positivity

  

The speaker highlighted practical themes on how to adopt positivity at work through teamwork, effective communication, embracing challenges and working with initiative, emphasising that positivity is a daily behaviour that contributes to institutional excellence and sustainable success.

 

 

Building a culture of excellence

 

Dr Al Sayed stressed that providing a motivating work environment based on respect, cooperation and effective communication has a direct impact on productivity and job satisfaction. He also reviewed practical pillars that help build a positive institutional culture, including supportive leadership, teamwork, stress management and human resources motivation, noting that excellence is no longer an option but a mandatory path imposed by the requirements of development and sustainability.
