Sharjah 24 – AFP: Paris Saint-Germain secured a comfortable 3-0 away victory against fifth-division side Fondée Footonnay Foot, advancing to the Round of 16 of the French Cup.

Quick start for PSG

Coming from Doha, where they won France’s first Intercontinental Cup by defeating Flamengo on penalties, PSG began their domestic cup campaign with a dominant performance. Désiré Douet opened the scoring in the 25th minute with an assist from Ousmane Dembélé, who then added a second goal in the 34th minute from a penalty won by Gonçalo Ramos.

Ramos seals the win

In the second half, Ramos scored twice more, first in the 53rd minute assisted by Seny Mayolo, and again in the 58th minute following a defensive error, securing a decisive 3-0 victory.

Strategic substitutions

After Ramos’ goals, coach Luis Enrique substituted Douet, Dembélé, and Warren Zaire-Emery in the 61st minute, with the score remaining unchanged until full time.
