Sharjah 24 – AFP: Bologna secured a 2-1 victory over Cremonese on Sunday in the 31st round of the Italian Serie A, bouncing back from their previous defeat to Lazio.

Early goals seal the win

The home side took control early with two quick goals in the first 16 minutes. Portuguese striker João Mário opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, followed by English midfielder Jonathan Rowe in the 16th minute, both assisted by Spaniard Juan Miranda. Cremonese pulled one back through Federico Bonazzoli’s stoppage-time penalty.

Red cards in stoppage time

The match ended with tension as Cremonese’s Moroccan midfielder Youssef El Maleh was sent off in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Two minutes later, Bologna’s Scottish midfielder Lewis Ferguson received a second yellow card, leaving both teams reduced to ten men.
