Al Badri expressed his delight at participating in the 13th edition of the festival, noting that it is a distinctive event that blends scouting life with theatrical arts at the Sharjah Scouts Mission, offering eight theatrical performances over two days.
In remarks to “Sharjah 24,” Al Badri added that the first-day performances stood out for their youthful ideas and the creative energy displayed in front of the audience. He highlighted that the festival has proven its importance as a significant contributor to the theatrical movement in Sharjah and across the UAE, with many young talents emerging from this festival now holding prominent positions in the Emirati theatre scene.
The participating works compete for three major awards: Best Troupe, Best Ensemble Performance, and the Jury Encouragement Award. In addition, the organising committee has set four supplementary awards, to be announced immediately after the performances over the two festival days: Best Concept, Best Execution, Best Props, and Best Four Actors.
