Engineer Abdullah Al Shamsi, Director of Sharjah City Markets, confirmed that organising the "Eid Fwala" event reflects the market's commitment to enhancing the festive atmosphere during the Eid season and offering visitors a complete experience that combines shopping with activities inspired by Emirati heritage.
Al Shamsi said, "Through this event, we aim to provide a unique experience for families and visitors by offering diverse displays that reflect the values of Emirati hospitality, in addition to supporting local shops and businesses within the market." For his part, Hilal Al Naqbi, Senior Manager of Eastern Region Markets, affirmed that the event adds a valuable dimension to the festive atmosphere in the markets during the Eid period, contributing to increased foot traffic and commercial activity.
Al Naqbi added, "Souq Al Jubail” is committed to organising community and seasonal events that strengthen visitors' connection to Emirati customs and traditions, providing them with a unique and comprehensive shopping experience during holidays."
The event features the participation of several local shop owners and businesses within the markets, creating a festive atmosphere that encourages shopping before and during Eid.
