Abdullah bin Zayed, Zambian FM discuss expanding bilateral ties

Sharjah24-WAM: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia, to discuss prospects for strengthening bilateral relations.

During the meeting held today in Abu Dhabi, both sides reviewed ways to expand cooperation across a range of sectors aligned with the development priorities of the UAE and Zambia. Discussions focused on building partnerships that serve mutual interests and support sustainable growth and prosperity for both nations.

UAE commitment to development partnerships

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to building productive, forward-looking development partnerships with Zambia, emphasising the importance of cooperation that contributes to the long-term prosperity and well-being of the peoples of both countries.

Regional and international developments

The meeting also included an exchange of views on current regional and international developments, reflecting the two sides’ commitment to maintaining dialogue and coordination on issues of common concern.
