Undav stars as Stuttgart crush Leverkusen in Bundesliga

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Deniz Undav starred as Stuttgart defeated Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday, setting up two goals for Jamie Leweling and scoring once himself. Maximilian Mittelstaedt added a first-half penalty, while Alejandro Grimaldo scored a second-half penalty for Leverkusen.

The win moved Stuttgart level on 29 points with third-placed RB Leipzig, remaining fifth on goal difference.

Freiburg comeback over Hamburg

Freiburg overturned a deficit to beat Hamburg 2-1, with Vincenzo Grifo and Igor Matanovic scoring after Daniel Elfadli’s red card. Hamburg had taken the lead through Luka Vuskovic.

Mainz draw with Union Berlin
