This year’s festival offers an integrated cultural and knowledge-based experience that revisits the history of vehicles as part of human memory, presenting them in a contemporary context that combines passion, collecting and learning. The event reinforces Sharjah’s position as a platform that celebrates tangible heritage and transforms it into a living experience that connects generations and links past and present in an open, interactive setting.
The programme features display of classic and rare cars representing different stages of industrial and design development, alongside live auctions, entertainment and retail areas, and food and shopping outlets. Together, these elements provide a comprehensive experience for families and visitors from across the UAE and abroad, presenting vehicles not only as exhibits but as stories of innovation and social change.
A key pillar of the festival is its discussion programme, which includes six specialised sessions over four days. Topics range from pride in historic industries and rare car collecting to the human connections among enthusiasts, motorcycles, and the role of cars in bridging cultures, fostering dialogue between collectors, experts and hobbyists.
The festival’s interactive dimension is strengthened through the Sharjah Classic Cars Award, which honours participating vehicles across categories such as the oldest cars and motorcycles, factory-original vehicles, a public vote award, and an elite category for the rarest and most valuable cars. Through this comprehensive content, the festival continues to establish itself as a cultural event that brings the past into motion once again.
