The festival will feature a number of distinguished theatrical performances, in addition to activities showcasing international cultures, and will run for one day. His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais attended the press conference announcing the details of the 11th edition of the Khorfakkan Theatrical Festival, held on Wednesday, at the Sharjah Cultural Palace.
Maryam Saif Makhlouf, member of the organising committee for the Khorfakkan Theatrical Festival, revealed that the festival will launch on Saturday, January 24th, at Khorfakkan Park for one day. It will feature a number of distinguished theatrical performances carefully selected from various festivals within the Sharjah Department of Theatre, including school theatre, scout theatre, and children's theatre.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Makhlouf explained that the festival embodies Sharjah's vision of promoting theatrical culture. It will include several competitions, such as "Princess of the Festival," "Bride of the Festival" for participating girls, "Create Your Own Mask," and "Most Beautiful Car," in addition to activities and performances showcasing international cultures.
