Gold prices fall on Thursday

February gold futures also lower

Gold futures for February delivery slipped 0.6% to $4,806.60 per ounce, reflecting a broader pullback in the market.

Other precious metals follow the downtrend

Other precious metals recorded losses as well. Spot silver declined 0.9% to $92.38 per ounce, while platinum fell sharply by 2.7% to $2,415.60 per ounce. Palladium also eased, slipping 1% to $1,821.50 per ounce, after reaching a one-week high in the previous session.
