Dibba Al Hisn Club launches its third sports festival

Sharjah 24: The third Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Festival kicked off its first day amidst a festive atmosphere and a large audience. The opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, directors of government institutions in Dibba Al Hisn, and the chairman and members of the board of directors of both Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club and Dibba Al Hisn Football Club.

Honouring and tour

The opening ceremony included honouring partners and sponsors in recognition of their active role in the festival's success. This was followed by an official tour of the festival's various sections, which featured diverse sports, cultural, and heritage activities, reflecting the festival's objectives of promoting sports and culture and reinforcing community values.

Sports and cultural events

The first day featured outstanding sports and cultural events that were well-received by attendees of all ages. Interactive raffles and prizes for the audience further enhanced the atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement. The opening ceremony was enlivened by performances from the Al Mubajjal and Al Washahi troupes, who presented distinguished heritage shows that added an authentic artistic and cultural dimension to the event.

The festival organisers emphasised that this edition builds upon the successes of previous years and aims to further enhance the standing of Dibba Al Hisn Club as a sports and cultural institution serving the community.
