Dibba Al Hisn Club players attend media skills workshop

Sharjah24: The UAE Football Association organised on Tuesday a media training workshop for the technical and administrative staff and players of Dibba Al Hisn Club, as part of a series of workshops conducted by the UAE Football Association for First Division clubs. The initiative aims to raise players’ awareness of the importance of media in the lives of athletes and to enhance their understanding of how to interact with various media platforms.

Strong participation and professional delivery

The workshop, which was held at the club’s theatre, was attended by first-team players and was delivered by Salem Ali Al Naqbi, Director of the Media Department at the UAE Football Association. The workshop comes within the framework of the Association’s efforts to strengthen the culture of professionalism among all parties within the First Division League system.

Focus on media communication skills

During the workshop, the lecturer addressed key skills for communicating with the media and the correct ways to deal with different media outlets. He highlighted the most important professional guidelines for conducting television and press interviews, and also discussed the topic of media appearance, stressing the importance of adhering to the required standards and criteria in personal appearance.
