Sharjah24 - WAM: A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck near the Indonesian island of Java on Tuesday, according to reports from monitoring agencies.

Depth of the quake

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) confirmed that the tremor occurred at a depth of 138 kilometres beneath the Earth’s surface.
