Sharjah 24 – AFP: A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia’s Talaud Islands on Saturday, USGS reported, with no casualties or damage.

The tremor, felt slightly in nearby areas, occurred 99 km deep and 90 km southeast of Sarangani in the Philippines.

Indonesia’s BMKG confirmed there is no tsunami threat. The region lies along the Pacific “Ring of Fire,” known for frequent seismic activity.
