SCI reviews Ramadan plan and 2026 operational strategy

Sharjah24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) reviewed its plan for the holy month of Ramadan, which includes a package of seasonal programmes and humanitarian initiatives targeting beneficiaries inside and outside the UAE. The review also covered the preparations undertaken for the holy month, in addition to the Association’s 2026 operational plan, which aims to organise workflow, enhance performance efficiency, and achieve a deeper impact for its projects.

Enhancing performance efficiency and ensuring sustainability of charitable work

This took place during a meeting of the SCI’s Board of Directors at its headquarters, chaired by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board. The meeting discussed a number of organisational and financial matters listed on the agenda, reflecting the Board’s commitment to strengthening performance efficiency, ensuring the sustainability of charitable work, and developing its impact locally and internationally.

Estimated budget for the assistance Department

The attendees also reviewed the estimated budget for the Assistance Department, stressing the importance of aligning allocations with growing humanitarian needs and the increasing number of applications received. This reflects the SCI’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities towards eligible beneficiaries. The members further reviewed the results of the SCI’s overall income for 2025, which showed a notable growth in resources thanks to the trust of donors and supporters, enhancing the SCI’s ability to expand its programmes and initiatives.
