Sharjah Charity provides housing assistance to 483 families in Q1

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The Sharjah Charity International provided housing assistance to 483 families during the first quarter of this year, totaling AED 3.7 million. The support included paying rent arrears, carrying out renovations and maintenance work, and furnishing homes for some families, as part of its efforts to promote housing stability.

Aid targeted at improving living conditions

The association confirmed that housing support remains a top priority in its humanitarian work, aiming to enhance family stability and improve overall quality of life.

Field assessments ensure aid reaches eligible families

His Excellency Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International, said the aid management team conducts field visits and carefully reviews each case to ensure assistance reaches those most in need, in line with the association’s strategy to improve living conditions.

He also expressed gratitude to benefactors supporting the association’s charitable projects locally and internationally, highlighting their role in sustaining its humanitarian initiatives.
